As someone who was almost a vegetarian for most of my adult life, except for:
A) birthdays at Outback Steakhouse
B) occasional burgers at parties
C) infrequent incidents of Whole Foods ready-made deli chicken
D) won-ton soup at Chinese restaurants
learning to cook meat in the last year has been quite an experience. Since my Donner Party CSA sent me Beef Stew Chunks I have been blissfully avoiding them, having no idea what to do and contented to leave them in the freezer until they do something on their own. But I defrosted them by accident several days ago, and am forced to hunt a recipe.
And somehow I landed on this instead:
NOM. I don’t know if I want to poke it with a fork or run away from it screaming.
