All it takes is one drop . . .

Even with a potent anti-viral on the market, the zombie virus is spreading. The attack on the Cloudy Valley High holiday party has left many students with terrible injuries and the dreaded Sombra C infection. Shunned by their families, friends, and community, dumped by boyfriends and girlfriends, scorned by colleges, they struggle to pick up the pieces of their lives.

The Shepherds aren’t making it easy. As their organization grows from scattered pockets of vigilantes into a militarized force, they decide that anyone with Sombra C, regardless of level of infection, be sequestered in confinement points – or worse, shot on sight. Suddenly, Cloudy Valley is no longer safe for Zaley Mattazollo and her friends. With roads cut off and Shepherds in pursuit, their only options are to surrender or flee the city.
